Disney+ Is Getting a Puppet Talk Show

Puppet Talk Show Earth to Ned Coming to Disney+

Disney+’s slate continues to grow. Late last week the Mouse House’s streaming service revealed that it would partner with Jim Henson Co. for a puppet talk show called Earth to Ned. The half-hour show will feature a pop-culture-obsessed alien and his sidekick interviewing celebrity guests. No word yet on when the series will premiere.

Batwoman Will Continue for a Full Season

The CW has given a full-season pickup to Batwoman. The series, which stars Ruby Rose (Orange Is the New Black) as Kate Kane, has received decent ratings so far—1.8 million viewers during its October 6 debut—and the pickup will give the show a chance to see if it can find a larger audience. The CW also picked up Nancy Drew for a full season.

Tom and Jerry Live-Action CGI Movie Coming in 2020

On Friday, Warner Bros. announced it is moving up the release date for its forthcoming Tom and Jerry movie to December 23, 2020. Originally slated for April 2021, the movie will be a hybrid of live-action and CGI animation starring Chloë Grace Moretz as a hotel employee who hires Tom to get Jerry out of the hotel before a big wedding.
